Kenyan President in EU-Africa Summit

H.E the President of the Republic of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta attended the 4th EU-Africa Summit that was held in Brussels from 2-3 April 2014.
On the sidelines of the Brussels conference, the President met Presidents Francois Hollande of France and Yoweri Museveni of Uganda.
In the photo, H.E. the President is welcomed by the President of the European Council Mr. Herman Van Rompuy and the President of the European Committee Mr. Manuel Barosso.
The 4th EU-Africa Summit brought together more than 60 EU and African leaders, and a total of 90 delegations, to discuss the future of EU-Africa relations and reinforce links between the two continents. In the summit declaration, leaders highlighted the close nature of EU-Africa relations and the shared values of democracy, respect for human rights, the rule of law and good governance as well as the right to development.
